DEAFCULT
Shoegaze/noisepop band i'm in from Brisbane, Australia.
FFO: all the usual suspects - MBV, whirr etc but with a catchier, sunnier outlook.

A quick google search will reveal a number of write ups and reviews such as this one: http://hhhhappy.com/2015/06/09/deafcult ... iting-for/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: DEAFCULT
Listened to a few tracks and they sound great. Never heard of them before but thanks for showing me this.

Listening now. Very good stuff.
What's your gear list for this recording and what parts do you play?

Re: DEAFCULT
It'd be kind of tough to pinpoint everything as we have four guitarist but tend to play more of the lead stuff.Kent wrote:Listening now. Very good stuff.

A quick rundown of gear we used;
Guitars - jaguar, mustang, jazzblaster, sg, tele deluxe
Amps - bassman, jazz chorus, jmp and some others but I forget
Pedals - modded boss overdrive, digital reverb, rats (modded and factory), carbon copy, visual sound h2o, small clone, fulltone ocd's (various versions), nano muff, tym big mudd, boss ds1, rc2 loop.....there's more, some handmade clones but I forget what they were
Actually there was a fuzz munchkin laying around and were were constantly joking about not using it

Re: DEAFCULT
Good timing, I was back home in Brisbane last month and a friend recommended your 2015 release, which became part of the soundtrack to my trip. (I also met Andy from this forum who seconded the recommendation.) I will pick up the new album as well.

This is really good stuff. A little bit of HUM in there as well at times.
