Right. Save the blasting for the house system. Seriously, the Chicago show was LOUD. The only shows this compared to were MBV and Tad at a 150 person capacity club.eggwheat wrote:I guess they are using in-ears and the front cabs are dummy amps for show. Stops the 'real' amps blasting the band and audience too much. Stage volume control basically.

If you think my singing is bad, you should hear me play guitar.

Re: Ride Reunion Announced
Interesting. The Toronto show wasn't that loud. It was loud in normal show context, but certainly not approaching MBV or APTBS levels.

Re: Ride Reunion Announced
Probably as good a place to post this...
Andy Bell aliased as GLOK has an elpee out of mid 90's style electronics/sparse guitar (think B12 or something in that neuk of the woods, a with milk version of the sort of stuff you'd see on Giallo Disco and a fairly generic post BOC thing or two) via the increasingly over-referenced Carpenter.
It's Ok I guess, probably not for me, a little generic maybe but probably batting above the abysmal average rockers manage when attempting something like this which generally becomes exhibit 'A' in any argument a four men in a vanner makes about it being 'easy'.
However it may well be for you;
GLOK - Dissident i think the digital is out with the vinyl to follow on preorder.
A much better way to spend his time than in the 100% hateful Beady Eye IMO.
