Just stumbled across it on Youtube...  it was on all channels for MONTHS...

... I was only 8 years old...

And that was WEST Germany. We won't even go into what was being broadcast on DDR television...  :D

i see you live in prague. isn't "krtek" from the czek republik? i guess he was broadcasted in the ddr (as well as in western germany).
i love it :-) television is not that bad at all.

He used to be one of my favorite cartoon characters... still is, maybe. A friend of mine did an internship at the studio where the series was
made and came home with a handful of original drawings... they went faster than I could get my hands upon one...

Yes, Krtek is a Czech character. He kicks ass.

Did you guys ever see the bumbling "do-it-yourself" duo called "Pat & Mat"? I think it was exported too.

Yeah, they're called "Buurman & Buurman" (Neighbour & Neighbour) in Dutch. One of the best programs on TV. Ever. A je to!

I used to be shy about watching this when my mother was around. I guess I noticed how erotic they were even as a 6-year old.
