I've been listening to their latest album for a little while now and just got the chance to see them tonight...holy shit these guys delivered. I haven't been so excited after a show in a long while. They were playing at a kind of hipster warehouse type thing in Williamsburg but they just transformed the place and got everybody moving. their sound live was just totally immense. Unfortunately I think they had some gear problems and had to stop the set short but everything up until then was amazing.
If you're not familiar, here's a sample

Re: Factory Floor
great band, when I was in ddd we shared our rehearsal space with them, and also played gigs together.
I am really happy they are doing well, as they have stuck with it through thick and thin!

Re: Factory Floor
Sounds like you had a great night.
Yes I've been a fan since their first single and banged the drum for them a fair bit, they have gone from sounding like the cusp of my teens to sounding like my late teens. I'm a fan of Void, with Peter Gordon and most of the remixing and other external projects.
I've seen them a good few times, they were amazing at Optimo.
I doubt they'll ever top this, the utter joy I felt when I first played this!

Re: Factory Floor
If you don't know it you should have a look at Gabe Gurnsey's solo album 'Physical' which is just out on the ever wonderful Phantasy. I think I like it more the recent Factory Floor and I enjoy how he draws from classic house, techno and electro and blends it with more recent sultry digital RnB, dancehall and Cabaret Voltaire style post punk and choppy minimal wave.my bloody television wrote: ↑Fri Dec 13, 2013 11:59 pmI've been listening to their latest album for a little while now and just got the chance to see them tonight...holy shit these guys delivered.
