Samuel Kerridge - Propagates of Desire featuring Aaron Turner (of Isis) This is an absolutely brilliant EP and up to the usual Kerridge/Downwards standards.

I like that old time rock 'n' roll, don't try to take me to a disco.

Ancient Methods - Walking On Cursed Soil (feat. Prurient) admittedly breaks out into some shrieking later on.

The Burning Skull by Cédric Pin/Glen Johnson a whole album of spoken word mausoleum dwelling industrial electronics gilded towards neo-classicism.

Marie Davidson - Work it this thread should probably be named the Marie Davidson thread since she in it so often and I've been banging about her on OSG since 2013 or something. Hilarious, tongue in cheek cringey and eccentric all at the same time.

I'm a fake ass worker, the sweat is never dripping down my balls, at least since i left ditch digging some time in the late 80's.

I didn't read through all 15 pages to see if this had already been mentioned, but Mewithoutyou and Listener are both bands who fall into this category. Also, there is a local band I'm fond of called Cathedrals ( https://cathedralsinyou.bandcamp.com/ )

Flux - Nothing is not done when this album was out in 86 or something most folk who liked Flux of Pink Indians totally hated it and it was a bit of a flop...I loved it. Still sounds modern.

Detox Twins - In the Deep Water off Popcorn Lung: A Polytechnic Youth Collection (or direct) which would be an excellent way to invest that tenner your granny gave you out of pity.

Marie Davidson - À l’intérieur so darkly beautiful. :-*
