Lucrecia Dalt - Tar :-* TOTALLY love this, really sensual and immersive with amazing fourth world music that sounds not unlike Japan at their most skeletal cut with Visible Cloaks.

Vincent Price - Witchcraft - Magic: An Adventure In Demonology. I recently bought a record that sampled some of this and I played it for the first time in some years. NOT the tacky thing you might imagine, it's captivating and sonically interesting with contributions by Douglas Leeds who you might know from early Moog and buchla records like Entropical Paridise and The Electric Zodiac.

The double elpee comes with a handy booklet detailing how to make your own hand of glory which is handy.

The intro to Patti Smith’s version of Gloria is pretty great.
Jesus died for somebody's sins but not mine
Meltin' in a pot of thieves
Wild card up my sleeve
Thick heart of stone
My sins my own
They belong to me, me

That was my ▾ signature line ▾ for years until I changed it to a 13th Floor Elevators quote :)

It is a very powerful line.

I believe she recently changed it to

Jesus died for somebody's sins, why not mine?

LoneLady - The Street Is Your Playground (LRM Mix) - a Psychogeographical Sat Nav by LoneLady feat. The LRM could also go in the cover thread since the chorus is nicked from Sesame Street. Tracks like this drive me mental, I want to buy them but I can't...they are frozen in the soundcloud amber when I want them entombed in vinyl.

Lay Llamas - Fight Fire With Fire (Ft. Mark Stewart) absolute cracker of a track with the great man spinning a dystopian sci-fi tale over a landscape of broken dub psyche.

Samuel Kerridge - Propagates of Desire featuring Aaron Turner (of Isis) This is an absolutely brilliant EP and up to the usual Kerridge/Downwards standards.
