Here's the very mellow first song of a band I play bass in (and some synth), while a drummer sings and plays guitar (and trumpet) and a guitarist drums: https://tmvf.bandcamp.com/releases

Liked this a lot! So hard to reign in the maximalist impulse, but you've done it very well.

Thanks! I'm glad to hear that, as I thought it does threaten to get a little much in the last two minutes. Hopefully over the next few months we'll add a bunch more songs on there

My band has finally released second album. Almost every guitar part was recorded on either '72 JM or Ampeg Dan Armstrong :)
check it out! Lots of fuzzy riffs and combo organ action included.

we're not particularly tight yet, but maybe the Bass VI action makes up for it

I haven't posted on here in quiet a while, but here is my bands Bandcamp page, The Starlight Run. We've got 4 ep's and we've been on a few other things here and there. We're working on finishing our first full length as well. Interested to see how you like it.

I made a topic about the music I was making, but I felt bad about spamming my music over and over again, so I decided to come here.

My music is dark and cold Korean post punk/synthwave with an emphasis on rhythm and texture. There's some influences from hip-hop, noise rock and ambient music as well. I think if you like Xiu Xiu, Post Kid-A Radiohead and other angsty dramatic music, you might like my stuff too.

In terms of gear nerd talk, the bulk of the guitars were recorded with a custom thinline Mustang/Jag hybrid with humbuckers and a Jag, while some of the synth sounds were handled with an MS-20 Mini. Otherwise, it's all laptop plugins.

A few months ago I released a split with a band from Austin that we had been playing a lot of shows with. I am really, really, really happy with the guitar sounds:

MIJ JM (Curtis Novak WRHB in the bridge, Porkroll Pickups in the neck) [Also layered a tele on Rookie, Judgement]
Rat + DD7
Cranked Fender DRRI

That's it, but got damn I like how it sounds.

Very glued and greasy reverb sound

My band Khoshekh. I'm the guitarist/singer/primary songwriter. We're kinda indie-punk-jazz I guess. This song is more jangly melancholic indie. It's a live vid the drummer's mum took at a gig in March which was actually our first.
If anybody's dying to know my cheap as hell rig it was a strat copy borrowed from another band as I'd broken a string on the second song, a Boss DS-1 and a Fender Champion 40. I would've been playing my homemade SG Special style guitar had it not been for the break.
Enjoy. If you want.

My band put out an EP earlier this year. Kind of instrumental synthy stuff. Sounds a bit Mogwai, Twilight Sad, M83 like. Two piece in which I played guitar and bass, Japanese Jazzmaster with Jess Louriero pickups on everything.
Also in Spotify and Apple Music if you enjoy enough to add it to your provider of choice.

Haven't posted here in a while. This has a lot of Jaguar played with tremolo and alternate tuning if that's your thing. Next one will probably have a bit more Jazzmaster as I bought one recently and am enjoying the change in sound.
