First Wave Hello

Post by stilwel » Wed Apr 25, 2012 3:15 pm

I don't even know how to describe these guys...other than amazing ear-candy.

First Wave Hello - The Lord and It's Penguin

Unfortunately the band is no more...but at least they left us something to remember them by.
When Ken Andrews (Failure) toured for his solo album a few years back he drafted First Wave Hello to be his backing band.
And I believe Ken either produced or mixed the FWH album.

So if you dig Failure, Year Of The Rabbit and all such things that are Ken Andrews related, you'll probably dig FWH.

Enjoy.

Not sure how much traction this got when I posted it, but listening to this album again and it's still brilliant.

Get at 'em.

I have their second album and to be honest it fell far short of the brilliance of their debut.
