You, sir, have exquisite -albeit a somewhat unusual, it seems- taste and truly are a prince among men, as well as God's personal gift to whomever you like!

I'd sig that if I were you, fourmations, he doesn't hand out compliments too easily you know ..

:)

Actually I think there's a lot of really good stuff written by forum members .. good enough that I put it on my iPod and listen to it as much as, if not more than, music made by people with major label contracts and access to huge studios.

Heh, anyone really, just go trawl through the music section .. I honestly haven't heard any duds although some of the work is less polished than others (which doesn't bother me, I'm quite happy with lo-fi if the songs work).

Some of the music that regularly comes up on my iPod .. Neale's floating cinematic instrumentals (about five album's worth!) .. Maggie's quirky Velvet-Underground-in-a-bar-brawl-with-Diamanda-Galas pop songs .. Jonas' "post-rock" band ..

There's heaps more that I haven't got yet because it's either on Myspace (who I haven't figured out how to rip off yet) or I just haven't got around to downloading or buying it .. just off the top of my head so please noone be offended if I leave you out .. Zhiv's band ddd, dark and chunky .. koyl's work, also very cinematic .. aen, noisy goodness .. idiotbear, great songs .. eggwheat's Orange Yellow Red .. milford's Ultracrush .. cletus' as cities burn .. dain .. amber .. sullivan .. heaps more.

Ok this discussion made me do something I wanted to do since a long time: a Forum members music catalogue.
The purpose is to make the members music easily findable.
It's here: index.php?topic=5814.0

@Orang Goreng : This Harimau tracks is great ! it's like Fourmations said,  brilliant, original, cool, groovy & weird in a good way.
It makes me think of the beasstie boys in a way.. and I love the Beasties !  :)

@Mezcalhead: It's a honour to be in your iPod sir !  ;)

Thanks! I can't believe that track is about three years old by now...I should really get my act together and finish the 15-or-so other ones I have. I'm home with a fever today, so perhaps I can finally finish my new megahit "If I don't say it, noone will (Ooh)", which according to my fellow band members should be everyone's favourite when it's finished :).

I like the track a lot, it's a bit like an acid trip. The vocals are so psychotic. More hits!!!
