I actually know somebody who loves them. UGH!
I think I see Slash in there, somewhere.

anything by Cake...
I was just listening to Fashion Nugget yesterday .. great songs, and some really nice guitar parts. I think he uses a Jaguar? Love Cake, anyway. Love cake too, but that's another story.

I'll be the first hipster to say "I like their earlier stuff."
I prefer their older stuff.

I donno who this is, but they should invest in some "big boy" pants
It's not about the gear! It's about you, your hands, your imagination, your feelings.

I apologize if I offended anyone with my offensiveness. I'm actually much more disgusting in person. It's a shame, since my family are such nice people.
It wouldn't have been a bad idea to leave a "I hate this and this and this" thread alone, but in an attempt to defend myself, the screamo dweebs wearing their little sister's pants so dominate my hometown scene I could just freaking barf. Their confederacy of weenie-ness really hurts bands that fall outside of the jerky little clique they exist in.
I just get irritated with how much local talent I see wasted, and how much lack of talent I see rewarded.
I am much more interested in what you're for than what you're against.

My biggest prob with that "scene," is that lack of musicianship and guitar playing ability is rewarded....What the hell is the point of playing, if you are going to play crappy!?
Damn kids, get off my lawn!

If that's the case, I should give up the guitar now!
One more guitar, then I'll practice!
