^^^ I'll have a listen to that.

Meanwhile, along with the Advisory Circle, and the new Gas album, Kamaal Williams - The Return was enjoying space on my turntable this weekend https://kamaalwilliams.bandcamp.com/album/the-return

Madonna - Music I love this song as much as I loathe the crass and totally unfunny video.

Virginia (Gini and Dave Ball) - Blue Pyramid klassik acid outlier only previously available on the Tekno Acid Beat comp in the very late 80's. The real genius at work here is the gypsy violin which brings a smoky eyed exotica to the squeltch and bubble.

Virginia – Blue Pyramid (Khidja Remix)

Virginia - Blue Pyramid (Bezier Remix)

Sumerian Fleet - All Against One camp as a row of tents goth disko up to it's neck in EBM babyoil.

Btw I picked tracks from it a long time ago (when only the file was available) but I'd super duper recommend the two C Cat Trance remix 12's that are out FINALLY. I preordered these back in January and it's taken this long for them to come out. Total bargain too at not much over £8 each for four lengthy tracks, many of which are more than worth this alone.

C-Cat Trance - Screaming Remixes Vol.1

and

C Cat Trance - Remixes 2 (only 2 minute extracts but full mixes on youtube IIRC.

Black Tears - Fears For Desires can you have too much echo? don't be silly! Kind like a nightmarish version of HTRK seen through a haunted mirror.

A Flock of Seagulls - Modern Love is Automatic fantastic intro, great tune and some really nice guitar playing. Some real youtoob weirdos in the comments complaining that this was never a single and yet...I have it as a single with an odd collage sleeve with a guy in a suit holding up a black blow up doll!

The Advisory Circle - No way Back beautiful woozy pop song, a vocal Advisory Circle track is rarer than the Yeti.
Particularly lovely!

I've got that in the pile, not got round to it quite yet but Mrs S (who is more jazz than me) tells me it's really good.

Jenny Hval - Spells lighter of heart from Jenny and quite joyous in it's own way. I know I'm projecting but the sax reminds me of it's use in other Scandi greats like Fra Lippo Lippi and Thirteen Moons.

The KVB - White Walls (Mark Reeder's Stoned Wall Remix)

The White Screen - Hamem Oti Red Axes spin off. Was just ordering their new excellent single* which isn't out for a bit and decided to revist the album. Gutter twang goes hebrew.

*The White Screen - Blue Blood

Johnny Jewel (with Desire) - Saturday Evening Jewel and Megan turn the dimmer low and make me swoon. Lots of great stuff on this anyway, I can't judge how it worked in situ as i couldn't get past Kyle Maclachlan's hair and gave up very early on.

Friend saw Sur Back and really liked them. "Breakbeat baroque-pop meets New Wave chanson + converses in fuzz guitar."
