Kensington Gore - Scaly Pholiota More mycology inspired synth spores. The guitar on this is totally ripped off...it's tip of my tongue but...can't...quite...reach...it. ARRRRRGGGHHHH!
Karen Marks - Cold Cafe posted this before but it's on the new Minimal Wave comp ' The Bedroom Tapes (A Compilation Of Minimal Wave From Around The World 1980-1991) ' if anyone wants it as is another Aussie minimal wonder in Denial's cover of California Dreaming (with terrible cover ) which also has a decent bee side that's not featured on the comp.
The rest of it is mostly unlinkable but very good.

Moon Diagrams (someone out of Deerhunter) - The Ghost and the Host (Komodo Kolektif Altered Reality Mix) The other side of this pink 7 is a mix by Happy Meals. KK basically drag into a temple located in the most humid quarter of deepest darkest Glasgow.

Yeah it does. That guitar riff is driving me mad, I think it might be like a band on Deep Distance or something.Jaguar018 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 16, 2018 6:03 amSome of it sounds a bit like Maserati?shadowplay wrote: ↑Thu Mar 15, 2018 3:11 amKensington Gore - Scaly Pholiota More mycology inspired synth spores. This is a synthpop duo from Korea. I really like the singer's voice, and the instrumentation is a perfect mix between digital sound manipulation and analogue subtractive synthesis. The lyrics are also great, unfortunately most of the posters on this forum won't be able to understand what she's saying. There's a translation on the comments, but as always, lyrics and poetry sound pretty awful when translated.

Chaines - Population 5120 fractured caught between worlds (or whorls) devotional jazz.
Chaines - For Your Own Good there's apparently a woman trapped in a Lions mouth.
Cabaret Voltaire - Sluggin' fer Jesus - pt1&2 fauvist rocksteady or is that unsteady? Whatever it is, the way this is simultaneously savagely primitive and sophistocated is a neat lifelong joy.

A holy trinity of minimal wave sevens beamed through the Shadowplay letterbox and lo there was much synthetic wonder amongst the people gathered around the turntable in supplication.
The Detox Twins - In the Hospital Garden as good as always from team Vorderhaus.
Adam Leonard - Entkommen just a clip
Alpár - Wakayama I'm quite into the playful wave exotica.

Borusiade - Breathe the Borusiade album A Body is an absolute treat for anyone who has been following their series of 12's, splits and remixes. I've gone for a couple of the low lights, really seductive shadowflicker tracks
Borusiade - .Undone
Josefin Ohrn & The Liberation - Rushing Through My Mind (Mang Dynasty Remix) amazing uplifting dancefloor tilt
Biosphere - Strigiformes mmmm tasty Tawny owl action
Retep Folo - Galactic Swim such a charming record. Seems like there's nothing to it but I keep just lifting the needle and flipping it back to the begining. Music for futuristic bingohalls on tropical planets
A Million Machines - Synthetic Eyes off a four trak spilt with tracks by Vox Low and three others.

CHBB - IKI MASHOO
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sX_G5Nv62KE&t=44s
Industrial track featuring Beate Bartal of Neubauten and Malaria! fame. The butchered Japanese is kinda funny to me, but it's a banger.

Re: Song of the Day Thread
I've been on a bit of a Bert Jansch/Davey Graham binge, after watching the Acoustic Routes documentary which has the briefest teaser of this - possibly a DVD extra, as it's kind of incomplete - my new favourite song. One of those instances where I wish the camera had lingered on Bert's fingers rather than his mug, as my version doesn't come close to the real thing.shadowplay wrote: ↑Mon Mar 12, 2018 3:29 amBert Jansch - Fresh As A Sweet Sunday Morning a beautiful and shamelessly romantic song.
There are a few versions of the whole song available; I like this relatively unadorned one better than the live version with Renbourn noodling over the top:
