Borusiade - Silent this just kills. A chanting seance at the Edinburgh MilitaryTattoo.

Borusiade - Silent (Khidja Remix) fully weaponised remix from Romanian favourite Khidja which wibbles deliciously in strobosopic style reminiscent of SM Nurse classic Frutta.

Not Waving (with Marie Davidson)- Where Are We

SLEAZY (Marie Davidson) - Sex Jam one of those tracks that's kinda cringey at home but great fun out

Invisible Church & Marie Davidson - Never Release the Tension really reminds me of Years of Denial which was a record I loved this year.

John Maus - The Combine it's John Maus, he sounds like a depressed monk in a discotheque...as usual.

Gust De Meyer - Casiowork 1.2.4 originally tape only, just been put out on vinyl for the first time. Incredibly engaging minimalism, just a Casio VL 1 and a portastudio. Whole thing if anyone is interested. I adore it's naive futurism.

Kazuhiko Kato - Arthur Hakase No Jinriki Hikouki from the kinda epensive in the UK Even A Tree Can Shed Tears: Japanese Folk & Rock 1969-1973. It's a pretty interesting and well collated compilation, for me it took a while to get my ear in with the vocals, across much of this comp but as it went on I got keyed in more.

Golden Teacher - The Kazimier I would have picked What Fresh Hell is This but no linky and also no hardship because this record is an all killer and no filler Glasgow streetsounds puncher.

Immaculate Rivombo - Soudani (Drum Dance) I don't know what it is about the next few tracks but I was cutting about in a Land Rover with the top down the other day and these just suit the mood.

Peter Power - Adama Waro (Khidja Dub)

Peter Power - Mori Baka

Rebolledo - Life Is Strange (Red Axes In The Moment Remix)

ALL RELATED BELOW

The Cat's Miaow - Not Like I Was Doing Anything I just bought I Won't Have To Think About You which is comp of 80's> lofi Australian diy pop. I knew some of it and I'm sure I've posted about Ya Ya Choral in the past. It's patchy for me because it reminds me of twees and I was hoping to find new stuff more along the lines of YYC but I can't really fault the selection

Ya Ya Choral - Waiting Time

Over the years I've run down most of the records released on M Squared where Ya Ya Choral (and some early SPK) come from so here's a short 10 track Aussie post punk sample which is possibly of no interest to no one but you can't fault me for effort;

Denial - The Weatherman but of course the A is very well known; California Dreaming

The Limp - Pony Club (on an M squared comp but AMAZING)

Love And Anarchy - Xero

Systematics - BBD

The Makers Of The Dead Travel Fast ‎– Tael Of A Saeghors

Pel Mel - Click Click

Belle du Soir - The Gun

EST - Yvonne (Bela ;) )Is Out Again

Scattered Order - Heat (a really good band)

Prod - A Brick Short

Negative Space - Hookworms

Hopefully the new album's full of tracks like this!
You think you can't, you wish you could, I know you can, I wish you would. Slip inside this house as you pass by.

The new James Holden record is just joyous and a bit of a departure as it's a live band collab that slips it's tendrils into future jazz and reminds me a wee bit of the totally fantastic record At Sacred Walls by Szun Waves.

James Holden & The Animal Spirits - Each Moment Like The First

James Holden & The Animal Spirits - The Animal Spirits

James Holden & The Animal Spirits - The Neverending

Bibio - ‘Phantom Brickworks III’ (Edit) this is about it on youtube but anyone just springing for it probably wouldn't regret it. Heartthrummingly beautiful, it's just been awarded this months coveted 'David Looks out awindow while listening to music award'.

Exploded View - Summer Came Early

Autumns - You're A Right Useless Cunt Aren't You SQEERRRRRRRCCCHHHHH....wow that's me ear wax free. Industrial techno that doesn't just clean out your ears, it might even unclog your drains. I promosed not to use the C word on here but it was in the song title your honour.

Von Haze - Solar Plexus sorta power substation drone. Quite different fromt he other Von Haze record I have which has vocals and a sorta heavy lidded cough syruped Mazzy Star ambience.

Von Haze - Outside The Night

Sally Dige - Be Gone reminds me of cross between Viva Xmal and Blancmange but no matter what it's lovely stuff.

Peppermint Lounge - Perfect High already had this but couldn't resist a new one. One of those tunes that get the whole family up dancing.

S U R V I V E - High Rise (Not Waving Remix) twisting into mellow acid bubblegum. Stick with this it opens right out

Cranes - Pillow Panther it's a bit of an annoyance to dig out the tape but it's always worth hearing.

Asmodaeus - Radiation Dance As the now disgraced Stewart Hall used to bellow on It's a Knockout...HERE COME THE BELIGIANS!

Danton's Voice ‎– Magic Mushroom

Nico- Secret Side Nico always comes in with the first frost. It's no lie that I could easily get to the grave without bothering to hear Lou Reed ever again but I can't get though a week without Nico.

Chaim - Slower Circle sensuous with a whiff of cardamom and rosewater

The Heliocentrics - The History Of LSD from their absolutely interstellar soundtrack to The Sunshine Makers a documentary about Nicholas Sand and Tim Scully, two 60's LSD manufacturers. Amazing album...decent film.

I saw Helen John one of the founders of the Greenham Common protest camp against nuclear weapons had passed away.

She's like a mountain.

Kissing the Pink - Greenham a properly great paean to great women.
