I'm very concerned about using pleasant and beautiful words....
You'll be oblivious to this but Sambo ain't a very pleasant or beautiful word in English. It's fairly uncommon yet vulgar slang for a person of African origin.
I don't know for definite but there was a childrens book published years ago called "Little Black Sambo" about an African child being chased by a number of animals who wanted his clothes. He ended up being chased up a tree by a tiger who then ran around the tree all day & melted (something like that). The book had deeply racist connotations. I know all this because, unfortunately, I was read it in Primary School. I remember my Mum flipping out when I told her about it.
You think you can't, you wish you could, I know you can, I wish you would. Slip inside this house as you pass by.
