Sextile - Disco New Sextile 12' fires all the pleasure centers, with it's embraced of coldwavedisko and kholed up goth. Took me a while to love Sextile, the first record was interesting but not really begging replays, Albeit Living was definitely getting there crawling as it was towards a kinky pulse but this new 12' has totally arrived.

Sextile - Current Affair (feat. Sienna) totally Nicola Kuperus

Sextile - AVC

Gazelle Twin - Glory the elegant time out in an album of seething flickerbook babble.

Gazelle Twin - Hobby Horse now its got a video and it's the full football hoolie folk horror. If you go down to the woods today, you're sure of a big surprise. If you go down to the woods today, you'd better go in disguise!

The Rattler Proxy - Oscillation (VoX LoW remix)

Robert Rental & Glenn Wallis - Track 3 beautiful howling isolationism

Bomb The Bass - Time Falls Apart (Wrangler Remix)

Geniuser - Is it Me? I would have probably have picked Disconnected but no linky. SO good to see Micheal Allen back.

The Wolfgang Press - Tremble (My Girl Doesn't) just gets me fired up from the belligerent chest puffing clatter of the intro to the chorus that just squeezes the heart.

The Wolfgang Press - I'm Coming Home (Mama) that coda just sweeps me away in impossible joy.

Pink Military - Did You See Her?

Lana Del Rey - Music To Watch Boys To I don't like a lot of LDR outside her first album but I like this...'a lot'. One thing about her is she has a great way with words, lots of very pithy and memorable lines in her songs.

Samuel Kerridge - Silent Notes absolutey gorgeous combination of the signature Kerridge laser blast with an beautiful underlying coldwave melancholy.

Jessamine - Corrupted Endeavour Jessamine are totally underrated and this is a belting slice of tuned out motorik.

Tirzah - Do You Know love this album. Obviously it conjures images of Martina but it's cut with a sort of nacrotic discombobulated feel that reminds me of AR Kane at their most woozy.

Tom of England - Care To Destroy? basically a re-edit of Black Arabs of the Great Rock 'n Roll Swindle.

The Trifids (not the missing F) - Brainbroom quirky little Canadian seven inch that kinda comes on like western soundtrack on Ghost Box.

Voodooist Corporation - Queen of Voudou contains Stuart Argabright of Ike Yard, Black Rain, Dominatrix etc. off the Married to the Mob soundtrack

Ancient Methods - Moonset (feat. Cindytalk) Short and sweet from the utterly mighty new/first and sadly very expensive Ancient Methods album III: The Jericho Records. The Cindytalk collab is massive news, they've collaborated before as In The Mouth Of The Wolf but Gordon didn't sing on it but his time we're treated to a very, very rare recent Cindytalk vocal!

Ancient Methods - Array The Troops (feat. Regis) rolling Saharan techno intro gives way to the full jackboot tattoo.

Orphx - Aurora Orphx spool their moorings and slip into echowrecked Porter Ricks waters.

Fred und Luna - Glück auf ultra crisp Rhinelander motorik

Fred und Luna ‒ Monotonikum really like this tracks blend of genteel acid, Kraftwerk, and kinda Kreidler goes Alez Allez sensibility.

Nina Simone - Here comes the sun (Francois K. remix) if you are wondering where you've heard the bassline before it's halfinched from this and also famously sampled on this.

Detox Twins - Dreaming Of Florida An absolute MUST if you like to paddle out on the minimal waves, though hopefully no one likes this seven (this is the killer bee) since there's only 99 and they are all sold (you can buy afile of this track though) . Absolutely gorgeous minimal wave song that I find incredibly soothing and just begs for repeat plays.

Detox Twins - Paradox absolute modern minimal wave classik.

Fred und Luna - Im Klanggarten (Prins Thomas Remix) Prins Thomas at his absolute peak, right up there with Work.

Exploded View - Dark Stains one of the more up and at em tracks on the excellent new album, channeling a real Section 25 feel and getting your big boots dancing.

Exploded View - Obey not a million miles from cassete cover disc post punk Broadcast, a beautiful fairground nightmare.

Exploded View - Sleepers gorgeous raincoat folk.

Ancient Methods - The City Awakes sandblasted future primitive desert techno, all whirling swords and refreshing Djinn and tonic.

Night Moves - Life Up (Demo Version) gorgeous electro romance to push your jacket sleeve up to when it comes on in your local Nite Spot.

The Oscillation - Wasted Space

Parquet Courts - Wide Awake (Club Mix) not really a fan but I blind bought this due to the Mikey Young mixes and this skronky ACR does Street Sounds gets me up dancing.

Talk Talk - Renee I put this on a mix for the Queen of the Shadowplays and just got swept away in a sunset amber glow.

Soft Cell - Baby Doll (dub) I was very disappointed with the new Soft Cell seven inch and it's super embarrassing and ultranaff video but I decided to buy the mega box set for completion sake and I'm glad I did since this is fucking great, though if I'm honest I'd probably trade the whole thing for this and a few other tracks on vinyl and leave it at that.
