I've been a fan of this very odd German group for years. They are called Deichkind.
They used to be a chill hip hop group, but they switched to a unique form of electronic pop music that's hard to categorize, and they use this as a vehicle to satirize and criticize pop culture.
This track is about throwaway consumerism and the video is very interesting. Title translates to 'Things'.
It is in German language, but you can set shitty YouTube English subtitles, that are good enough to get the point across.

hey no sweat. so glad you checked it out cos it was such a great show.
was SO SO SO stoked to be in LA thaaaat timing. have been so into these guys since hearing them in a surf movie called Sprout. bought the albums then luckily we were over there to coincide with that show.
And Money Mark was a bonus eh !
