oh wow, that would be AMAZING!!!!!!
It'd be great to hear Rain King live, it's always been my favourite song off that album

Re: "Thank you for your order"
I'm so looking forward to it!!!!
I've seen a few of these gigs that ATP puts together where a band plays one of their albums back to back...the set usualy is the album in it's entirety, and then for the encore they do some different songs.
I've seen Dinosaur Jr doing "You're Living all Over Me"
and
The Lemonheads doing "It's A Shame About Ray"
I migth also buy a ticket to see Slint doing "Spiderland"...but I'm really broke...the tickets are £30 each
ahhh...my 6th time seeing Sonic Youth is a few months away!!

it is such an amazing album...I hope that there will be tickets available in a few weeks...I'm off to Greece tomorrow for two weeks, so I can't spend any more money at the momentFUZZ_KING wrote: slint... spiderland...

Re: "Thank you for your order"
slint doing spiderland is most definitely worth £30. I went to see them the last time the played london, and think they played every song off it
does this mean you'll be offsetless for 2 weeks? no fun!

hehe....yeah, I'm pretty sure I'll get a ticket for them when I'm back
I'll be offsetless indeed....I got my first electric guitar still at my parents' house in Athens, so I'll string it up
it's a Hohner SG Lion in black...it's actually a pretty well made guitar...I was quite lucky with that one.....whenever I go home and pick it up, I feel 14 again!!

Re: "Thank you for your order"
at least you've got a guitar - no guitar for two weeks would probably drive me up the walls!
have a nice trip! will you be able to access the forum while you're away?

hehe...yeah, thankfuly I can play guitar there...there's loads of times I have nothing to do, so a guitar is a life-saverchrisjedijane wrote: at least you've got a guitar - no guitar for two weeks would probably drive me up the walls!

I'm putting a broadband connection in this week, so hopefuly I'll be able to come on here and chat to you guys...might take a few days to get it sorted....hopefully it'll be straightforward though, as I need to actually work when I'm there...I'm taking my laptop with me

Re: "Thank you for your order"
Where do you get tickets for Sonic Youth. I bet its sold out already!!
Slint sounds great too. I've been playing Washer on my acoustic for the past few days. Keeping me calm whilw I wait for my Klusons!!
P.S - That London Forum gig mentioned by chrisjedijane was the best gig I've seen in years, maybe the best gig fullstop!!
A kind of religious experience. The way they came on with hoodies, they looked like druids!!

You think you can't, you wish you could, I know you can, I wish you would. Slip inside this house as you pass by.

I'm going to buy some tickets for the Slint gig, I didn't get a chance to see them the other year, I hope one of my friends wants to go
