The Stooges
The Ramones
The Sex Pistols
Joy Division
Black Sabbath

I wanted to stick the Buzzcocks in there too...really like them :)

are Zeppelin considered a 60s band?...I guess they formed in '68.....so they probably are a 60s band

Sabbath started in '69, didn't they?

The Stooges were from '67 till '74

hmmmm...it's complicated....

if late 60s bands count as 70s, then Led Zeppelin have to be on my list somehow.

I am saying if you released an album in the 70's you're in!

Well, it turns out that most of mine are solo artists, or have gone on to be. In no particular order:

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band
Iggy and the Stooges
David Bowie
James Brown
Patti Smith

It's been my long held opinion that Devo is the pinnacle of human achievement thus far. Really.
