...Mike Campbell giving a clinic on the history of surf guitar, on one of his Jags, nonetheless. So cool! Anyone ever heard his surf project the Blue Stingrays? Not to be missed. Enjoy.

Um, AWESOME?
I do love Mike Campbell's playing. Very underrated. I don't know how I've never heard of this band. It's sure to take me back to my "surf" period from about ten years ago.
Thanks!

Mike was also in the "Dirty Knobs" with Ron Blair from the Heartbreakers before Ron got back into the band after Howie's departure. I never heard 'em, but Cmatthes can chime in based on his conversations with Ron about the project. Sounds like it would've been damned cool!
Campbell is phenomenal and yes, WAYYY underrated.
