I LOVE  "What Jail Is Like"

I got the above EP, and a couple of their albums...really like the "Gentlemen" album :)

I go a dvd of them playing live, and the guitarist uses a non-matching headstock Burgundy Mist Jazzmaster, with a mint green guard.

Congregation is a classic album too. Great guitar band! Missed them playing on 2 seperate occasions. I heard somewhere that they met in prison. Nice.
You think you can't, you wish you could, I know you can, I wish you would. Slip inside this house as you pass by.

It's not about the gear! It's about you, your hands, your imagination, your feelings.

I saw them back in the day (in Champaign, IL at the Blind Pig) and they completely rocked. Love Jones, of all people, opened up for them. That JM was sweet in person and was a motivating factor in me getting my first one. His seemed a little darker than BMM, but then Love Jones was passing bottles of Jim Beam around so my judgment was likely impaired.
Bigger in sum than parts.
