This is J Mascis's quite new band 'Witch'
I did a search for them but couldn't any find mention of them. It's Stoner Metal and he's the drummer. I like it

I've met him a few times... He's very nice but a very quiet guy. I had the pleasure of talking shop with him at CMJ with the guys from Teeth of the Hydra (Also a great band). We talked about his Marshall amps. I recommended a repair guy in his town.

He's as particular about his drums as he is about his guitar amps... He uses HUGE DW drums, a 28" bass drum I think.

Hey Thanks,

I run the daily stuff here: Production, Advertising, distribution stuff. We're a small label... only 5 of us here.

Entrance is great. They're on tour with Malkmus right now... which is great for them and us. Guy is really sweet and a fantastic guitar player.

Cheers,
David

Wow cool.  I saw them last weekend in LA.  I thought they were pretty good but I was really disappointed that the guitar player didn't have a spare guitar (or at least a spare set of strings) to use when he busted a high E.  That was always a huge priority for me so as not to completely interrupt the flow of the show for 5 minutes while I bothered some other bands guitar player to hook me up and then change strings on stage.  I could see how he could break a few too since he plays lefty on a righty strung guitar.  Good player though...  interesting style.  I honestly thought the bass player was the real jewel myself.  Great thick rolling rhythm and a fantastic sound.

Anyway,  I thought TeePee was bay area and you're in NYC right?

I always found J to be completely underrated as a drummer.
Those drums on Green Mind are soooooo tight.
Nobody exists on purpose.
