The DVD should be good when it comes out. I got a copy off ebay on DVD, pretty good considering its been converted from VHS. There's loads of footage from Reading 1991, the infamous year that Kurdt broke his arm jumping into the drums. I was at that gig. Mind blowing stuff. Probably the best line-up Reading ever had for a middle day. Nirvana, Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr, Iggy, Babes In Toyland. It pissed it down that night & the final day was a waterlogged nightmare but I'd do it all again tomorrow if I could.

For me 1991 was the definitive Nirvana Reading gig, I was at the 1992 one aswell but by that time they'd become so popular you could feel something had ended! Oh & Courtney Love had arrived!

Yeah. They played one of the smaller stages. She swung it (the tampon mentioned above) round her head like a lassoo. Dawg!!

That may have been the year that someone spread a rumour around that Cliff Richard had died. Nobody seemed that upset (unsurprisingly). Actually, it could have been 1990.
