My band's Single *with added Bass VI-ness

Post by TheMilford » Thu Dec 14, 2006 9:42 am

I'm going to take zhivago's lead here...

My Band Ultracrush has released it's first single. It's a two songer... hand-printed packaging... Both songs feature me on Bass VI.

The songs are available for free download for a little while on our sight:

www.ultracrushband.com

We are playing tonight if anybody is interested. NYC - Fat Baby - 11pm.

If anybody from this forum shows up find me and I will buy you a drink or give you a free shirt to reimburse you for the cover (which is $7)!

Thanks guys.

Most of the stuff was recorded before my involvement by Frank. Gain and Esotropes I wrote and play Bass VI exclusively on.

More to come soon.

David,

gotta ask.....

serious question:  who did the cartoon pics of the band?  they're great

Not so serious question: are there any more of Denny ?  (cartoon or real photos ... she's really great  ;))

Funny thing is she just quit last week... and last night will be our last show with her. She's a very nice person and a great bass player. Unfortunately she wasn't that into what the Crush was doing. Also she's very young and needs to "find herself". I wish her the best of luck.

That leads me to my next thought. Anyone here live near NYC want to play bass in Ultracrush?

Oh.. there are so many lines I could have typed in here in response to that one...
But being a moderator, I would have had to delete/suspend myself for everyone of them  ;)

Thanks again for the kind words.

We'll be recording a lot over the next few months... stuff more in the vein of Gain and Esotropes.

We'll be looking for musician to help play this stuff live. planning on playing NYC, Boston, CT and Philly in the late spring.

Anyone interested let us know.

Well that's a different project: The Milford. Hope to finish writing and make demos this spring when I get my MOTU.
