It’s really worth it, and I’m not the kind of guy who goes to a lot of shows these days. In fact, I almost always try to find a way to avoid going to shows unless it’s a band I really love. Swervedriver gets me out of the house every time, though.panoramic wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2024 5:06 amI haven't seen them LIVE reformed but I LOVE THOSE TWO RECORDS. next time they come through I will definitely be seeing them again. I agree with the caliber of those two being right up there with their other material. There are a few of his solo albums that touch the same level.

NICE. I met Adi Vines in Australia back in 2015 and he told me that Jimmy Hartridge is the secret weapon behind the band's sound. I was a bit surprised so I listened to the first two records on the long flight home and I knew what he meant. The way his parts weave in and out with AF's really give them 'that sound'.

I had a ticket to one of the DC shows but i believe my marriage was about to explode and I missed it due to bickering/fighting over some shit or another.blacktiger wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2024 3:56 pmIt’s really worth it, and I’m not the kind of guy who goes to a lot of shows these days. I used to be cool, now I just complain about prices.

It really is both of them together. At one of the reunion shows, Adam had issues, and his guitar cut out halfway through a song, so they finished the song with just Jimmy playing, and it was fascinating to hear what was there (and what was missing). It definitely wasn’t what I would have expected. Their guitars combine and play off each other in the best way possible. They are my favorite guitar team, bar none.OffYourFace wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2024 8:22 pmNICE.
