Hey, OSG.

My band Half Tail is rolling out a new EP. As is commonly done these days we're releasing a series of singles, so I will update this thread as they come out. I play 2nd guitar and sing backing vocals.

As a guitar player this was a really fun song to track. It has big dumb hooks, some eerie volume pedal swells, an off kilter solo with a harmony part, and some chilly post punk vibes at the end.

Offsets were well represented. Reissue Starcaster, Road Worn JM with Sunday Woodchime+ pickups and Rhoney Starblaster were the main electrics for the session, along with my Custom Shop Nocaster.

For whatever reason the algorithm seems to like Coyotes. We don’t expect this bump to last. Anyone can listen to a song once, but we’re hoping that a little wider exposure will get our music to people who will be into it longer term.

I think a full length would not be in the cards unless we get some financial help via a label, etc…

It would be fun to do, but a lot more money and effort than batches of 4 to 5 songs like we’ve done so far.
