John Agnello mixed it. I kind of had my dream team this time out!
Pretty insane having J play on my track. New record is on Darla and comes out on July 10. Would appreciate you having a listen and picking up the wax or CD if you’re so inclined!

You all are too kind!
The LP is out Friday. Feels good (and a little weird b/c end times).

I love it. It has a very 90s Halifax rock scene sound to it.
Familiar with any Eastern Canadian bands from the 90s?

Yeah of course! I was a bit young to see them in their prime, but the lore is strong

I was using mobile, so I didn't see that you are in Nova Scotia!
I am 39, so I got to see Sloan, Thrush Hermit, the Peter Parkers, and Eric's Trip/Elevator to Hell several times, as well as many others.
How did you manage to get J Mascis on a track?
That's so sweet.

I’m almost 38, so I guess my real excuse was that I lived (and continue to live) in the deep woods of N.S.! I have Sloan and the Peter Parkers many times. The drummer and bass player in my band are from North of America.
I met J and his wife after a show we opened for Dino in 2016. We tracked some of the record at Sonelab which is co-owned by Justin Pizzoferrato, who has engineered most of the reunion era stuff. He thought J would be into playing on a track and hooked it up. Pretty cool!
