Maybe it has something to do with Baltimore, but I think the two 'biggest' recent indie groups to come from there are Beach House and Lower Dens. Both make some pretty rich music, and for me the albums require a little digestion before I start to really did them. Such is the case with this new Lower Dens album, The Competition.
The more listens, the more I am enjoying it.

I'll have to give The Competition more listens. I was kinda bummed that it didn't veer too far from Escape from LA. I liked how that one was different from Nootropics.
