Really good stuff!! I'd heard that this was in the pipeline but it's totally exceeded my expectations.

My interest in Anton's more recent work had been waning somewhat while I felt that The Limiñanas were maturing with every release (even though I still hold Costa Blanca very close to my heart) so this has come about at a perfect time. There's clearly some delightful chemistry going on and it feels like they've all raised their games to release a fantastic body of work. Right on!!



L'Épée - Diabolique

I haven't listened to the whole thing yet, but I've loved everything I've heard from the album. I agree that Anton's/BJM's output has been less interesting and a bit samey lately, so this is a breath of fresh air.

They're playing in Berlin, at the first venue we ever went to when we visited Germany, on my birthday!!!

This is good stuff.

Wait... that's Emmanuelle Singer??! I am so out of it.
