I'm really liking the new album 'Nightscapes' on the wonderful Clay Pipe Records by pedal steel guitarist David Rothon . Conjures images of The Hired Hand, The Gentleman Losers, Midnight Cowboy and The Caretaker.
Packaging is up to Frances Castle's usual high standard.
Sorry the physical is sold out but you never know she might re-press them if there is demand. Otherwise there's one tape left at Norman or you're going to have to deal with take it up with the piggies on the secondary market.
Here's a short video to the track 'And Breathe' and you can listen to the whole thing on Spotify and buy it on itunes.

As someone who has just started learning pedal steel over the past year and a half, this is great stuff! Thanks for the posts so far.
I really love Mike Johnson's work on Bonnie Prince Billy's album, Greatest Palace Music.

She has become one of my favorite contemporary illustrators. I would love a book just on her work for clay pipe. Visual poetry.shadowplay wrote: ↑Sun Dec 16, 2018 6:08 amPackaging is up to Frances Castle's usual high standard.
