Omni on Audiotree Live

Post by aliendawg » Thu May 31, 2018 3:15 pm

Some of you probably know them but I just recently got into their music and I gotta say the guitar player, Frankie, is a beast with that Jag! Audiotree always bringing good stuff

Check them out! My favorite is Equestrian but the guitar playing in After Dinner is amazing

That’s my boys from ATL right there. There are a lot of OSGers that can find a lot to like in OMNI’s music. They’re coming from all the right places.

Philip and Frankie are really sweet guys, too, genuinely nice. They even play the right guitars.

I’ve booked them a couple times in VA now. Cool dudes, solid band. They’re becoming more accessible online. Frankie sometimes plays a vintage musicman (duo sonic looking one). Frankie is hot water and Philip is cold water.

That might be true but they still didn't reply me on FB lol. As for the water thing I'm not sure what it means

I find it interesting that Frankie was the frontman on Balkans. They were getting kind of popular in the early 2010's but the band ended too soon. He played drums for Lotus Plaza too, and of course, guitar for Deerhunter.

Another shoutout for my ATL boys. Check OMNI out if you haven’t already. Statistically speaking, if you visit OSG regularly you already love this band, even if you haven’t heard them yet. Frankie is even playing G&L lately.

Also they're releasing a new album soon. New tracks didn't exactly impress me but the Television influence is much more clear now.

I'd love to see them live so if I were you I'd be right in the front row closely watching Frankie's fingers, singlebladepickup
