Question: On "Pay No Mind" -- how do you get that fuzzy sound going throughout? It completely elevates the song. Is that a guitar? a bass? a synth? Would love to hear what people think.

That *is* a cool sound. Synth is my guess, but who knows?mediocreplayer wrote: ↑Tue May 22, 2018 12:26 pmQuestion: On "Pay No Mind" -- how do you get that fuzzy sound going throughout? It completely elevates the song. Is that a guitar? a bass? a synth? Would love to hear what people think.

I'm now addicted to it. But it still isn't as good as Depression Cherry, but no prob.
Yes almost no guitar, is he now playing synths too?
Is it only me, but I'm brutally reminded to early 2000's AIR... that's a good thing, I mean.

Yeah, man... I actually still can't listen to a Beach House album without skipping some tracks but I love all of them anyways. 7 is up there with Depression Cherry for sure.
On their bandcamp it says: "On 7, we decided to follow whatever came naturally. As a result, there are some songs with no guitar, and some without keyboard. There are songs with layers and production that we could never recreate live, and that is exciting to us. Basically, we let our creative moods, instead of instrumentation, dictate the album’s feel."
But yeah.. I'm missing those guitars too :/
