I just saw this recent record had been reissued, now on Cardinal Fuzz. I'm sure I recommended it ages ago but the original 300 run sold out pretty fast.
If you like winsome and windswept bucolic psychedelic folk rock you are in for a treat. Some folk might recognise Alison Cotton's voice from her work with Michael Tanner.
IMO it would be worth it purely for Deep Rivers Move In Silence, Shallow Brooks are Noisy but the rest of it is good too.

Well, I listened to the whole thing and I like it! I may at least have to get the download. My favorite is "You Told Your Secrets to the Sea". I like the songs Alison sings on, but he's good too. Nice to see a husband and wife duo making music together. The album description had me at Nico. I think this is very good contemporary folk rock!

I listened to this. It was pretty good but lacks the looseness of the old school real deal which is a big part of the charm for me.shadowplay wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2018 11:56 amFull stream ahead ahoy me hearty; The Left Outsides - The Shape Of The Things To Come
