I've never been a fan if the pop video and generally avoid looking at them lest they off me off the music. I’d also say that most o& my retired buying life involves potless bands who can’t afford a video or can only afford ten Bob.

However these ones are good

Stealing Sheep - Apparition just so clever, adorable and charming. Best of the best.

GAPS - She Bears a Flower budget of nothing, incredibly beautiful dancing...result!

Oh and brand new..I thought this was cute, lo-fi and en pointe Revolutionary Army of the Infant Jesus - Carry the Sun

Bat For Lashes - What's A Girl To Do? when my eldest was 8 or 9 she was totally obsessed with head-dress period Bat For Lashes. I've probably saw this video more than any other. Not anything to do with the video but that chorus!

One of my middle kids was obsessed with Zola Jesus up to and including having a sort of shrine to her. Thankfully her rather tepid last album mostly cured her of that level of fandom.

Anyway this video makes me cry like TeenieTiny Tears; Orbital - New France (feat. Zola Jesus)

Boards of Canada - Dayvan Cowboycoming up with a more appropriate video for this would be an absolute exercise in futility. Perfect!

Laibach - Whitleblower finding humour in referencing Eastern Bloc gymtastic hothousing and ESP experiments

Laibach - Across the Universe neoclassical totalitarianism. Probably controversial but I'd cross the road to avoid the Beatles original but I ADORE this (funnily Mrs S loves the song but thinks the video is terrible and offputting).

Ryan Teague - Cascades "The movements of a music box ballerina are reinterpreted in a groundbreaking video for British composer Ryan Teague using electromegnetic fields, sub zero temperatures and 2000 volts of electricity."

Oh and in the coveted best worst video section; A Split Second - Mambo Witch. If Eddie 'the Eagle' Edwards decided to form a Belgian EBM band he'd have been on this tip. I actually love this song right up to the awful guitar solo but that's why you have two copies right? There's not a problem that I can't fix, cause I can do it in the mix

I've watched it probably 20 times, the first 10 to watch every individual camera to make sure I hadn't missed anything, and the last 10 just because I like the song.
