I'd still go see Alice Cooper. In fact, he's on my to-see list.
Not with that silly johnny depp band, though. PU
Gotta admit I'm with you on this one.
The artist formerly known as mbene085.

What did I just see there?
Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.

Kind of reminds me of:
"With few exceptions, whenever an actor decides to embark on a music career, that music will inevitably be a sort of wistful, meat-and-potatoes roots rock. It doesn’t take an imaginary degree in pop psychology to understand this. Movie stardom is a fake and fluffy business; the amount of pretense and preening involved can be downright embarrassing at times. So when actors—and this phenomenon predominantly applies to the men—decide they’d rather pick up a guitar and sing for a while, they naturally gravitate to a gritty, unadorned Americana, the kind that captures the salt-of-the-earth, dive-bar lifestyle they’ve forever opted out of."

To be honest, this is how the band always sounded to me.
The cool thing about fretless is you can hit a note...and then renegotiate.

The Hollywood Vampires. Some past and present members:
Alice Cooper
Johnny Depp
Joe Perry
Duff McKagan
Brad Whitford
Glen Sobel
Tommy Henriksen
Matt Sorum
Robert DeLeo
That is quite a rogues gallery of rockers. About half of Aerosmith and Gun n' Roses. Robert DeLeo (Stone Temple Pilots) might be too good for this group. At least there may be hope that his sartorial style rubs off on the rest.
Oh, and they have already run that Depp commercial during the Olympics.

It's funny that, it's like they all want to be 'authentic' like it's a synonym for good.
Some actresses dabbling in music seem to have more artistic success and some have made or sung on really good records.
D
Are you loathsome tonight?
