Kevin Shields / Brian Eno collaboration....
You think you can't, you wish you could, I know you can, I wish you would. Slip inside this house as you pass by.

I love when things like this pop up out of nowhere but it makes me wonder if there is more. It is a great track but there was very little danger of it not being great with those two.
We are merely moving shadows.

Are you sure they didn't just rip the soundtrack from one of those videos where someone slows Loveless right down?

It’s OK but with things like this I often wonder if folk would give it the time of day if they didnt know who it was. It’s not unlike Fennesz and reminds me of Rosy Parlane.
This sounds facetious but it’s not meant to be so, it’s just the best comparison I can think of;
It’s like how a Robbie Williams fan wouldn’t buy a big band swing album even pointed at the greatest example of the genre but they’d sure buy a Robbie Williams swing album.

They started writing this in the early 90's.....I'm so happy they got it finished.

I think that can be said about so many records / tracks / artists... It's like once you've done something that was widely successful, people are just going to give you the benefit of doubt at least. People are interested in you, it's not just the sound most of the time.shadowplay wrote: ↑Mon Nov 06, 2017 1:00 pmIt’s OK but with things like this I often wonder if folk would give it the time of day if they didnt know who it was. Speaking as someone who made music in the same ballpark 25+ years ago that very few people (like me and 3 friends, maybe) ever had the least bit of interest in, I can confirm your hypothesis. That said, I do enjoy it myself.shadowplay wrote: ↑Mon Nov 06, 2017 1:00 pmIt’s OK but with things like this I often wonder if folk would give it the time of day if they didnt know who it was.

Came out on 12' for RSD. I was in two minds about buying it, it's OK and all that but I wasn't really bothered but figured if I then decided I wanted it I'd have to deal with some discogs pig, so best buy now and not cry later.
