That looks (and sounds) interesting. Hadn't heard of her till now, so I guess I have a whole new rabbit-hole to fall down....
Thanks, as ever, for the recommendations.

There was thread on the last album. I really like this one, it's quite optimistic sounding and it's it walks an interesting line between the folked 60's style retrofuturism and 80's future pop and dream pop (which she dabbled with on the first record too).
Man I have super spammed this record.
Btw my Beautify Junkyards album shipped today, so they will be probably be in store for the weekend.

Just noticed the resuscitated Gwenno thread in my feed; seems I was quick to dismiss what I heard of her first LP, admittedly in the wake of discovering both Death & Vanilla and Black Channels.
I have to say I find the full track Tir Ha Mor a lot less appealing than the two album trails. Will give the whole album stream a fair hearing when the set and setting's right, but kind of hope I don't like it too much as I'm perennially skint just now, but am not going to be able to resist buying the Beautify Junkyards LP first chance I get.

Tod if you've not checked them out have a look at Beautify Junkyards. Their new record 'The Invisible World of Beautify Junkyards' is out on Friday but mine arrived this morning and three songs it I'm literally swimming in it's sun dappled beauty.
Only one full song online; Beautify Junkyards - Aquarius
Album Trailer
Their other two albums are linked earlier in the thread but here's the Bandcamp anyway.

Looks like we have a brand new addition to the thread in the form of this forthcoming Clay Pipe release: Galactic Sounds - Retep Folo.

They're taking pre-orders now, David (on the link above). Not sure how fast it'll sell out, but worth mentioning just in case you leave it too late.shadowplay wrote: ↑Thu Mar 08, 2018 2:25 amYeah preorders on Friday next, the few seconds I've heard I really liked.UlricvonCatalyst wrote: ↑Thu Mar 08, 2018 2:23 amLooks like we have a brand new addition to the thread in the form of this forthcoming Clay Pipe release: Galactic Sounds - Retep Folo.

She said Friday the 16th.
Got lucky if this was a Jon Brooks they'd be gone by now.

I was able to pre-order this as well, though I had to fight with some troublesome browsers to make it happen. I really like Clay Pipe's catalog and aesthetic, but pre-orders are a little tough (the last time I think I harassed UK peeps and Shadowplay for assistance with Jon Brooks).UlricvonCatalyst wrote: ↑Thu Mar 08, 2018 2:23 amLooks like we have a brand new addition to the thread in the form of this forthcoming Clay Pipe release: Galactic Sounds - Retep Folo.

I must be living a charmed life as I haven't encountered any problems with the Clay Pipe site. Glad to hear you got your pre-order in the end.Jaguar018 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 09, 2018 8:47 amI was able to pre-order this as well, though I had to fight with some troublesome browsers to make it happen.
