The Jesus & Mary Chain

Suprised I havent read anything about them on here yet.  They kind of go hand in hand with My Bloody Valentine, Spacemen 3, etc. for me at least.  "Psychocandy" is still one of my favorite albums.

Yeah, I like this band a lot. I like that big guitar sound of theirs, and the mythos surrounding Jim and William's love/hate relationship is always kinda compelling.

Good 'ol feedback-pop. "Psychocandy" is indeed an amazing album. It seems like they decided to go off  in different directions on subsequent albums - not to say that's a bad thing however - "Darklands" especially ain't bad at all. I think that William Reid is a terribly underrated guitarist.

I still have a red Australian tour T-Shirt from 93 with the song title "I Hate Rock and Roll" on the front. Amazing how many comments I get.

I saw a great video interview of them on youtube a while back, the bass with only 2 strings was a great touch  8).

So long as the right two are there, who needs any more?  ;)

"Automatic" is killer when played loud.
