The Jesus & Mary Chain
Suprised I havent read anything about them on here yet. They kind of go hand in hand with My Bloody Valentine, Spacemen 3, etc. for me at least. "Psychocandy" is still one of my favorite albums.

Yeah, I like this band a lot. I like that big guitar sound of theirs, and the mythos surrounding Jim and William's love/hate relationship is always kinda compelling.

Good 'ol feedback-pop. "Psychocandy" is indeed an amazing album. It seems like they decided to go off in different directions on subsequent albums - not to say that's a bad thing however - "Darklands" especially ain't bad at all. I think that William Reid is a terribly underrated guitarist.regimentle wrote: Suprised I havent read anything about them on here yet. I still have a red Australian tour T-Shirt from 93 with the song title "I Hate Rock and Roll" on the front. Amazing how many comments I get.

i got to hang out with them once as well. some friends were the openers during their last tour. mostly i talked to ben as william was too drunk to understand half what he said.

"Automatic" is killer when played loud.
Destiny's in her evening gown; you're always running late.
You tell her she looks wonderful but she'll just have to wait.
