I'd say this band would appeal to folks on here. They certainly do to me & are great live. They have a new record out today.

Thanks for the PSA. Love life and times. I'll second how great they are live.

I think this might be one of my favorite albums by them. Great band.

Whoa, never though they had this many fans in OSG.

One of my favs as well and can't wait to listen to the new one.

It seems Allen is playing a Blacktop JM instead of the Hohner Teler these days, so yeah, relevant.

I could finally saw Shiner a few months ago and I was almost crying haha.

New album is amazing so far, it has that 90s vibe not present in the previous 2 albums yet more powerful than ever. It feels like it's overproduced in some sporadic moments though, like too many guitar tracks and something new, rather unusual I'm also hearing is the use of fuzz and flanger.

I'm still buying a copy when they come to San Diego =)

Listened to the new TLAT and yeah it's pretty epic, but i think it's going to take a few listens to sink in.

Also listened to Shiner and wow, can really hear the similarities. x)

Love these dudes. They always have this band called magnet school open for them in Austin and those guys all play offsets. I wonder if they are on here.

Oh wow, hadn't thought about these guys in a while. I talked to them at great length after a gig and got them to sign my copy of Suburban Hymns. Fantastic dudes and great live, have to check the new one out!

Saw TLAT on Friday night. My goodness, what a great live band. So much noise for a 3-piece.

Allen plays a super cheapo 335 knockoff made by Oscar Schmidt. You'd never know by his tones.

Long live the DL4. So much MXR.

That blue TC Helicon vocal harmonizer is magic. He used it sparingly on choruses and it sounded really natural.
