Elliott Smith is not an artist known for fuzz, but From A Basement On The Hill has some great fuzzy guitar moments. This track is my favorite example.

That's pretty great. Even though Smith and I both are originally from Omaha, I never heard his stuff until now.

You are missing out on the best songwriter since Lennon/McCartney! You really are!

I am a Smith fanatic -- I knew exactly what song that was going to be before I clicked. That's partly because there are only a handful of tunes (at most) in Smith's catalog that are as fuzzed out as this one.
