Elliott Smith is not an artist known for fuzz, but From A Basement On The Hill has some great fuzzy guitar moments. This track is my favorite example.

I just love that splatty upper octave stuff.
What are some bands that have an awesome Fuzz tone?

That's pretty great. Even though Smith and I both are originally from Omaha, I never heard his stuff until now.marqueemoon wrote: ↑Sat Nov 04, 2017 1:06 pmElliott Smith is not an artist known for fuzz, but From A Basement On The Hill has some great fuzzy guitar moments. I’ve always loved the fuzztone on this Spacemen 3 cover of ‘When Tomorrow Hits,’ so stanky!

I am a Smith fanatic -- I knew exactly what song that was going to be before I clicked. That's partly because there are only a handful of tunes (at most) in Smith's catalog that are as fuzzed out as this one.
