Just got it today and played with it for a few minutes. The bog standard plate sound seems like it will be pretty damn good for my application.

I just did a test fit on my board and now I'm trying to figure out if there's room to cram on a Mooer Spark Tremolo :D :fp:

I have one on my board, and I really enjoy its simplicity as well as the beam-a-toneprint functionality. Robben Ford's toneprint and Jonsi's (from Sigur Ros) are excellent. Any pedalboard reverb will pale in comparison to rack and studio outboard reverb, which is why I'd go for something quirkier like the Caroline Metéore and such, if I wanted something more expensive (aka "better") and if the sound is to go through the guitar amp+speaker first.

I cant's say enough good words for Digitech Supernatural. It's not a sexy boutique pedal, but it sounds so great for use as an "amp-like" spring reverb, it's unbelievable. It also has a few other settings that make it great for synth-sounding ambient tones, but overall it covers a huge spectrum. I was never into reverb pedals as I always had amps with reverb tanks, but recently got a vintage vibrolux with no onboard reverb, so i needed a pedal. I must have watched 30+ videos and read a ton of reviews, and I could't be happier with my choice. I'd say at least give it a try if you can find one nearby.

In my case it's going in front of the amp (no effects loop), so yeah it will not be particularly hi fi. That's ok though.

So I've had this a few weeks now and am pretty pleased with it. I'm using it in a very subtle way, and it works for that. I'm tried a bunch of different toneprints but have always come back to the standard plate.

My one complaint is the detents on the control. Between 9 and 10 o'clock there's a significant jump that's apparent no matter what toneprint I have loaded. At the 9 o'clock click reverb is barely there, and at 10 it's pretty apparent if still subtle. If there was a middle ground between these two settings that's where I'd want to keep it most of the time.

On the budget end, look for a used RV3 or RV5? On the less budget friendly side, check out the spaceman spring reverb. It's pedal board friendly.

Welp, I replaced this with a Catalinbread Talisman several months ago and haven't looked back.

But... I broke it out today just to see if there was a modulated verb that would get me into Johnny Marr territory (since I don't own a chorus). Turns out there is, and of all things it's the damn Steve Vai patch. :freako:
