If I bought a DMM from the States would I need a different powerpack for use in the UK?

Most EHX stuff comes with a slightly non-standard DC-in, sorta bayonet shaped. Charlie Chandler's do a neat little adaptor to make your standard Boss-style daisy power supply fit EHX kit....

Just missed one by a whisker. Ungigged & in excellent condition. It sold for £106 & its already in the UK.

If that was a good price......Fuck!

Idiotbear - Is this weird DC-in like a standard earphones jack?

I've not inspected it closely, but yeah - looks a lot like.

If so then I've got a spare powerpack that should fit.

Those kinda jacks do come in various (slightly different) sizes though. I'm probably best off getting the DMM with a pack from someone in the UK.

EDIT - this is IF I get one. I see it has a Vibrato setting that I probably don't need. The AD-900's or 999's look awful tempting.

Can't wait to compare them all the same :)

COuld very well be a value that is fixed on the big DMM that has been made adjustable on the XO model.
I prefer their older stuff.

I think the chorus/vibrato dial is actually just a two way switch and it will be the same as the old one

Tried it today at a music shop, and i was impressed, I hold my own memory man in high esteem, but this new one was very nice.

Yep, that's right, it's a two way switch. I think it would have been cool with a seamless one here, it feels like it only affects the rate of the chorus.

dont like, well its cool and all but i prefer the original.
I think it looks great and I always found the big enclosures to be kinda dookie and not in a good way.

You know what sounds really rad?  Run a DMM into the looper part of the new SMM w/Hazarai.  With a RAT in front of both.  Oh yeaaaaaaah.

aside from the rat... i have been using DMM into SMM/H for months. they're made for each other.

YES!!!  I just saw this for the first time today and i can't wait to get one.  Ive had a memory man longer than any other pedal ive got and use it the most, and ive been wanting to get a second one but they are pretty huge.  The only problem ive found with the XO series pedals is the mini pots have a little bit too much friction.

I don't like it... :(

I've been planning on buying a DMM, and now I'll  need to try to find a NOS one on Ebay when I buy one?   LAME.
