3. octave clang, dark-tuned meathead and a tube pre-amp pedal based off an ampeg gemini. (octave fuzz, doom fuzz, warmness)
make feedback, not war. pick it up! pick it up! up, up!

At the moment, three (Little Big Muff, Fulltone OCD, Prescription Electronics GERM)

I'm actually looking into getting a lower gain pedal for Christmas, anyone have any preference between the Barber LTD and the Xotic AC Booster?

I didnt' list it with my other 4, but I supposed my Moog Freqbox could be used as a distortion unit heh. Makes an odd sound when you're syncing it. I'm considering a MXR Distortion + as well as Way Huge Green Rhino and Swollen Pickle pedals in the near future too.

Jealous. A gritty Ge OD is right up my alley.

I love my Fuck Overdrive, but a killer alternative would be a GERM. Come on Santa! Help a brother out.

Right at this very moment? Too many. I think I have a problem. :derp: My current project is an indie/punk/folk/noise thing, so I seem to keep adding a new pedal for each track. The list of "currently in use" fuzzes, OD's, and boosts includes a big muff, devi ever's Torn's Peaker and Soda Meiser, an 808, a prince of tone, a klone, a skreddy screwdriver deluxe, and a SHO. If you held a gun to my head, I could get by with the muff, meiser, klone, and screwdriver.

Haha, I'll take that as a compliment! I got it with a Whammy, both used but in great condition for around £180! Local seller and I asked him if he had any good clean boosts and I ended up with the GERM. Don't exactly know how, but I did and it's wonderful.

right now im running two fuzzes, a Fredric Harmonic Percolator and a Fredric Superfuzz. at the end of my chain im running an Earthquaker Tone Job that seems to break shit up ever so slightly at high volumes, and tightens everything up real nice. not really a dirt device but very useful! i think a 3 knob DBA Fuzz War is gonna be the next fuzz i try, it sounds killer.

At the moment just 2, an OCD and a home built germanium fuzz face/tone bender hybrid. At one point I had something crazy like 5 or 6...the OCD was there plus a fulltone 69 (one of my biggest regrets selling that thing), a Devi ever truly beautiful disaster and Destructo noctavia, and a dr. Scientist the cleaness. It was great having all those options but at this point I really like what I can get out of the two I have.

3, soon to be 4.

Russian Big Muff
Devi Ever US
Ibanez Tubescreamer
Dunlop Fuzzface (incoming)
I'd like to get something like a SuperFuzz at some point if I can find a good one that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

3-4 for me... right now Analogman dark peppermint, wyllie new moon, basic audio zippy & fromel go.. if I'm taking the pedalboard.
Each of those is pretty different, so if I don't bring the pedalboard sometimes it's just 1 fuzz on the floor; I've gone through a lot of fuzzes.. sooo many good ones, but i'm stoked on the 4 I have right now..

Just got the Dark peppermint 2 weeks ago.. but it's a good 60's fuzz.. raspy riffing, but you can turn down your guitar volume and it will handle chords alright..
Same with the Wyllie New Moon, crazy versatile, swell, Octave, scrambler to nice overdrive type sounds.. I usually keep it a bit tamed as it handles chords, will do smooth etc..
Zippy - Use this for horn lines and fuzzy riffs.. Killer fuzz!!
Fromel OD is the one I use when I need to be louder and cut a bit more, sorta like a treble booster, but It's a bit diff than that and running the other fuzz'zs through it is good.

What are you running your dark peppermint with and through? Is it mostly good for riffing or do you play chords through it? I've been eying the peppermint fuzzes as it is time to try some new fuzz sounds.

Two: '86 Rat (Reutz'd) and 'tall font' green Sovtek Muff.

My '78 Marshall 2203 is set for a bit of break-up and I also have a Boss FA-1 preamp clone to push the amp into more overdrive for a third distortion sound.
