SUPERFEEDBACKER AND wimpy distortion.

Post by aen » Sun Feb 11, 2007 10:18 pm

Hey!  Every onec in a while you need to tlak about super feedbacker and distortions.  I just got one!  and though i really like the wierd feedback sound, and the actual feedback it helps to coax out of the amp, the actual sound is quieter, or at best, just as loud as the unaffected signal, even at full blast!

Advice?
Experiences?
Fish?
I prefer their older stuff.

Yep. I takes a while to get used to. Model is DF-2, right? Using in conjunction with another dirt box and reverb/delay really helps this pedal shine. Good score. How much did you get it for, if you don't mind me asking?

for real! $50 is a great price when I saw SWD Adam used a hotcake in front of his to boost it up.

There should be a way to turn the volume up. Here's the schematic.

Why should we buy postage stamps? We can make our own.

Well this is not the bent sample, but check out my usage of the super feedbacker!  It's in Keith Richards tuning!

i've wanted to get one for a while now. the prices just keep going up, and it makes it harder to invest in ultimately, what is a modded ds1.

if it worth it?

If you have the know how to do it yourself, I would definetly do that.  I wouldnt get one for the crazy ebay prices, especially since the distortion isn't a boost.  I'm glad i have one though, I like the Farifsa organ kinda sound.

Very nice sound. A bass player friend of my son's has one (he got it for 5 bucks in the 80's) and he wont sell it to me.
I got a Line 6 Tone Core Dr Distorto pedal and it isnt bad but it doesnt have the same sound as the superfeedbacker.
