ebay...

total bargain. Temperature control is a must for using leadfree solder (which you almost certainly will unless you're a luddite, although leadfree takes a little getting used to)

Does anyone know if http://www.pedalpartsaustralia.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; is reliable? They've got some good stuff and without the overseas shipping which is a killer for me yet their page is a bit dicey lookin' :derp:

Ive used them before, Mark's a good guy.

Prices are a little expensive on some things, but enclosures are pretty decent price.

Never had a problem.

A couple of other places which I can recommend. First is http://www.taydaelectronics.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; who sell a lot of very useful parts, such as stompswitches, LM13700s, LEDs, etc. Prices are very good and shipping is fast.
If you're in the UK, http://www.rapidonline.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; is a good alternative to the likes of RS and Farnell. Their stock isn't quite as extensive as RS, but their prices are good and if you spend over £35 you get free shipping. I've been using them for years.

I really like Mammoth Electronics: http://www.mammothelectronics.com/

Nice, organized site and pretty fair prices too.

***edit: kind of awful shipping prices, though
