...the patchbay idea is genius, I'm already entertaining all the possibilities of a patchable modular Nano x2 setup!
I've always had Patch Bays under my boards, usually housed in a Hammond 1590B enclosure (although this is the first one I've built into the board itself - just because there's not really the space for a box). I have before made multiple boards connected by a bundle of cables. It's kinda ridiculous, but also fun.

My main board is undergoing an overhaul at the moment, but it has a patch bay made to receive and send via TRS... I leave my wireless receiver on my amp then just run a single cable between it and the board. I've also built a switching patch (housed under the board) which can move an effect pedal in and out of a delay fx loop so I don't have to dedicate a whole pedal and use up Pedalboard real estate for that. I'll post pics when it's all complete.

Got a couple of new additions since the last time I posted my setup, the Fender Marine Layer reverb and Wampler Plexi Drive. Apparently I still dont do neat cables though  Still a ton of space left on my board, I guess I should buy more pedals.

Minor update (from previous page): Added a cover plate to the bottom of the board to hide cables, and patchbay labels

(the plate is actually straight and a perfect rectangle, the photo was taken at a weird angle)

New band, new board. The Analogman Chorus, Barber Direct Drive, and SD Vice Grip are all new additions and I'm pleased with all three of them.

I've always loved EHX choruses and have had the Small Clone as well as various Neo Clones over the years. Although I've always been happy with the basic sound, the noise and volume drop issues did always bother me. After briefly trying a CE-2 for something different, I ended up going in on the Analogman and I have to say it's pretty incredible sounding. Much quieter than a stock Small Clone and the amount of depth available in the knob is really something. Would highly recommend for the chorus freaks out there.

The Direct Drive has been a really nice surprise. I haven't been too crazy about doing "base OD sound is into a clean amp" for awhile, and although I've had a few (OCD, etc.), none of them have really done it for me. The Barber is really something, and definitely scratches the "Various kinds of Marshalls" itches incredibly well. I know a lot of pedals out there claim to do it, but this one does it best for my ear.

The Vice Grip came about because I realized that going back to my Tele after so many years that I needed something to beef it up a bit and even out the string dynamics. I've had a few Dyna Comps and was never that into the sound. The Vice Grip having a blend control and the three way switch for what type of dry signal makes it through has been lovely to have and it's been a real treat.

I re-arranged my board for an upcoming jam...I needed something a bit more compact and lighter to carry on the train :)

Thanks Steven!

It’s a cover band that I am playing in, so these pedals should cover all the bases 8)

That sounds so fun!

I've been using pretty much no pedals, only a reverb pedal or my girlfriend's 60s Reverb Tank if an amp doesn't have it. Feels freeing, but then again, I'm not exactly playing with any bands. Lots of sounds at your disposal with that pedalboard. :)

It definitely covers a lot of ground...I'd like to get a spring reverb pedal again I think...I am missing my old Van Amps Solemate :)
