Secondary setup. I'm really liking this combo. It can be subtle and tasteful or pretty over the top depending on how things are set.

Put this setup together over the course of the weekend and am really grooving on it so far:
Image
(Excuse the crappy cell pic...)

The path:
instrument > TC PolyTune Noir 2 > Fulltone Fat Boost FB-2 > EQD Data Corrupter > Moog MuRF MF-105 > VFE Tractor Beam > TC Ditto Stereo > BAT Fnord > JRAD Archer Ikon > Moog MF Boost > Fulltone Supa-Trem > Walrus Audio ARP-87 > Fairfield Circuitry Meet Maude (w/ Mr. Black Supermoon in the FX loop) > EQD Ghost Echo > JHS Buffered Splitter > amp(s)

I was shooting for a fun, noir/sci-fi noisemaking/ambient noodling setup that could cover some actual playing too to live in the music room and it's seeming to work out well in those regards so far. I'll be adding a 3 loop switcher and replacing the Archer Ikon w/ one of the Rockaway Archer sometime this week.

I will probably setup the PT2 board to put in front of this one w/ the Keymaster, the big looper, and a more watery/shimmery time/mod loop (thinking Arpanoid, PolyChorus, The Depths, AquaPuss, Disaster Transport, and some verb) and feeding this spacey/noir board off of one loop on the Keymaster and the watery one off the other in parallel.

Damn Sid! That thing is ridiculous! I LOVE the Sci-Fi theme you've got going there! I'd bet it works great with everything, but tell me you've tried a bass or VI through it 8)

Thanks man!

I was kind of thinking VI when I was laying it out but I've been crazy busy the last few weeks at the day job so haven't got the chance to grab the bass amp and check it out properly yet ;D

Here are the mockups for this board and the sidecar once the loop switcher and Rockaway Archer come in (and I've got a chance to put it all together):

I'm gonna setup the sidecar to the right and have a couple of expression pedals in between, one for the Keymaster for crossfading the two boards, and the other into the Expressionator for the Four Eyes, Randy's Revenge, and Wonderlove on the sidecar. I'm thinking it should be pretty damn fun to play around w/ and an interesting excercise in excess at the least.

That's real classy. If I had infinite money, I'd make a board for every (base, not every single hue) color of the rainbow. I always loved your color theme boards.

Definitely let us know how it sounds with the VI if you try it, especially the Data Corrupter. I'm really interested to see how that sounds with a VI.

The loop switcher and the Rockaway Archer came in and I got them plugged into the noir scifi board:
Image
It goes:
instrument > Fulltone Fat Boost FB-2 > OneControl Xenogama Tail Loop 2 {TC PolyTune Noir 2} Loop 1 [EQD Data Corrupter > Moog MuRF MF-105 > VFE Tractor Beam] > Loop 2 [Devi Ever Shoegazer > JRAD Rockaway Archer > Moog MF Boost] > Loop 3 [Fulltone Supa-Trem > Walrus Audio ARP-87 > Fairfield Circuitry Meet Maude (w/ Mr. Black Supermoon in the FX loop) > EQD Ghost Echo] > JHS Buffered Splitter > amp(s)

Still haven't had the opportunity to check it all out w/ the VI or through the big amps yet, but it's sounding pretty darn cool and it's been a blast and pretty inspiring to play around w/ through the Class 5 combo so far. The Rockaway seems really nice and the EQ seems to be laid out very nicely frequency/Q wise w/ the guitars I've tried through it. I'm still loving the Data Corrupter and feel like I've barely scratched the surface and the time loop provides a lot of great sounds to play w/.

I got the pedals all laid out on the watery board tonight while I was doing day job stuff:
Image
Planning to wire it up thusly:
Instrument > EP Boost > PolyTune Noir > Arpanoid > The Depths > PolyChorus > Keeley Loop [Four Eyes > Barbershop > Valcoder (dialed mostly for amp sim/breakup flavoring rather than trem)] > Ditto > Operator [Stutter-lite > Ethereal > Panther Cub {w/ Randy's Revenge in the loop for ring mod on the repeats} > Surf Rider]

I decided it makes more sense to setup a "command center" type board for the Keymaster, expression pedals, Expressionator, the amp switcher, the big looper and a 6 outlet power strip to live on so I can use them w/ any of the boards. I'm thinking something like this in the end, but I'd have to get the mini Volume X pedals (or something else that will fit):

A couple of small updates, and I made a tap-tempo switch, by repurposing the shell of an old, broken power adaptor :D

so close. My amt vol pedal order never arrived, couldn't even get a refund so essentially got screwed over. added tap tempo but need a right angle cable, basically a whole board cable upgrade would be nice.

metal zone is fine, best dirt pedal for my wah, seriously beat out everything else I have, go figure.

That's awesome!! Are you using the little Mooer footswitch caps? I've been looking at getting one of two for those hard to reach pedals, from Barefoot Buttons (http://barefootbuttons.com/, no affiliation), but they're a bit expensive if you need more than a couple.

yeah mooer, they work out pretty cheap on ebay, $8us for ten minus shipping costs. Never really seen any others but worth it no matter what brand xD

The Mooer ones feel pretty solid? Metal is pretty cool, but I like how they're clear/translucent plastic, incase there's an LED under the footswitch area.

I have the same question. My tiny Madbean Moar is right next to my tuner which is a lot taller so the footswitch is really hard to reach mid-song.
