No pedalboards or tuners for us basement-dwelling noodlers.

Re: your effects setup?
Guitar, actually but it'll do for bass too.
It's essentially Guitar > tuner > Accountant Compressor > Tronographics Rusty Box > rehoused Holy Grail (the knob and switch surrounds aren't staying) > Amp
Though currently there is a Barbershop OD in place of the Rusty Box.

Yep! Big box, but decided to put it on the hammond enclosure not so much for size but so I could have a footswitch (the 'local/distance' switch) to toggle back and forth between the Hall/Spring (long/short) settings. It works.

Cool. Been wanting to do something similar to replace the toggle in my Danelectro French Toast to toggle the Octave.

Those are horrible to rehouse BUT the switch is easy to replace.
I tried to rehouse my PB&J delay and, well, I have one less delay pedal.

Re: your effects setup?
Good reminder how difficult these are. its not exactly crucial which is why I've put it off. Plus the risk of effing it up far outweighs the want to to rehouse it.

Definitely a proceed-with-caution kind of thing. But damn if they're not great pedals! The PB&J delay is really great, even as an always-on reverb-like sweetener.

Just noticed that everything is sort of color-coordinated, yellows and blacks and stuff. Thought I'd post it.

Thanks! I am also a fan of the Rubberneck. I think I sometimes like the idea of using delay better than I actually like using delay... and I think most of that has to do with overthinking how to use it. For me, the Rubberneck simplifies the process of using delay in a musical way. I also bought the FS3X which makes it even more useful.stevejamsecono wrote: ↑Tue May 08, 2018 6:14 pmYep. Re: your effects setup?
I'm in a similar boat. I love the idea of it but I find myself bending over backwards to use it sometimes. That being said, the tap tempo on the Rubberneck made me use it more often than previous delays I'd had. Good to know about the FS3X btw, I may consider dropping money on that as well...onebigholiday wrote: ↑Wed May 09, 2018 3:54 amThanks! I am also a fan of the Rubberneck.
