I can confirm that the creepyface/broadcast combo sounds pretty fuckin incredible at gig volume. I think the extra amp volume on a stage versus a cramped practice room gave me a bit more wooly compression than I was hoping for, I'll have to adjust for that next time coz I wasn't able to go as clean as I wanted to without being too quiet.

Couldn't be happier honestly! It's ridiculously powerful and versatile, for live use its been a game changer.

Re: your effects setup?
I've been moving things around a lot the past week, but for now I'm good. It's a bit absurd to have 4 fuzz pedals on your board, but whatever.
Little Bear BS-1 - Woolly Mammoth clone for my super gated noise fuzz
OBNE Haunt - Compressed gated fuzz with with a more bassy tone for rhythm
Caroline Shigeharu - High treble fuzz to really cut through and stand out. Very articulate
EHX Soul Food - Clean boost
Joyo Ultimate Drive - Light OD
Caroline Olympia - Pretty redundant, but it's a hairy fuzz that kind of sits between the Shigeharu and Haunt as far as tone goes
Donner Tutti Love - Simple/cheap chorus for a nice subtle effect
TC Prophet - Really awesome digital delay for a great price
Digitech Polara - Reverb workhorse
And at the very end I have a Walrus Plainsman boost turned all the way down as a kill switch. It's only there because I had it laying around and figured I might as well put it to some use.
Eventually I'd like to make a bass board and I'll put the redundancy of the Olympia, Plainsman, and another fuzz & delay I have on that.

Re: your effects setup?
I've been getting all kinds of mileage out of this board.
Chain goes: Jazzmaster >> AUX dirt up front - gritty, broken-sounding treble/full boost, followed by a customized Electra for more mid-range EQ'ing/boost >> 600D >> Ghost Delay >> Reverberation Machine >> DD7 (used as a looper and sometimes for subtle reverse delay) >> EHx Freeze >> EQD Hummingbird >> Super Reverb with the reverb dimed.
I almost always have the Deranger and 600 on; and surprisingly use the Freeze a LOT more than I thought I ever would. That said, whenever I do use it... my goal is to use it discretely, so that you don't notice it's there (they have a very "distinctive" sound that you can pick out from a mile away); but if I didn't use it, you definitely know something is missing from that part. The rest is season-to-taste.

Re: your effects setup?
parry, do you have a link to Aux Effects? Their name, even with the pedal names shown here, is hard to Google.

Re: your effects setup?
mathias,
Thanks for asking! I don't have a site because to this point, I've really only been building them for myself and friends. I'll occasionally sell (or trade) the odd thing I've built, but I've yet to really dive in. That said, I've been thinking I might build small batches of the two on my board, built as a 2-in-1. They seem to pair together quite well. If you're interested in how that goes, I'm on Instagram @ sounds_like_broken.

Your finishes look so pro, I figured you were already in business! Good job! Also, I'd be curious in your stuff, if you do ever start building to order!parry wrote:mathias,

@marqueemoon: I thought I recognized the name on your IG account. After a bit of digging, I realized I've been enjoying your EP since you posted it up, here

^ I love the Tym lego pedal.
I've been really curious about trying out a Tym Big Mud.
