Wow, that's some cool stuff. Reminds me of a darker side of Neu!
My band is Psychedelic Orchestra. (I'm the bassist)

Well after about 18 months since I last posted here, my board has morphed several times and now looks like this

Image

Not obviously different, but there are some different fuzzes and drives (notably Boss FZ-2) and I've ditched the EH Super Ego in favour of the Boss TW-1 and Strymon Timeline, and Boss FRV-1 replaced by RV-5. Currently using a Boss PH-2 in place of a Fender Classic phaser (which I am in the process of re-housing in a slightly smaller box) although an MXR Phase 100 might go be replacing it.

I love pedals but I could never use a huge board like that.
Right now, anyway...

I have two boards right now.

The first board is a small one. It is just a Polytune > Boss DM-2W. I use this one for my Country & Western band.

The second board is what I use for my pedal steel in my instrumental band. It goes:

MXR Dyna Comp
>BOSS VO-1 vocoder
>Strymon Deco
>BOSS DS-1 (So good on the steel)
>Pierce Ennio Fuzz
>MXR Phase 45
>EHX MEL9
>TC Elec. Ditto Looper

I'm still looking to get a BOSS Digital Delay and a BOSS Compressor Sustainer (to replace the DynaComp) for that board. I also have a volume pedal and a WAHWAH pedal on the floor in this setup.

I'll try to get some pics up soon.
Send me western swing vids

Finished up the laundry, present wrapping, and packing w/ plenty of time to rekajigger the Mini board and get a good couple hours in w/ it through the Sock Monkey this evening:

Love it! The simple setups are always the best anyway.

It’s the strap that really ties it all together!

I'm just missing a grey fuzz face or one of the big colorsound fuzzboxes in this picture... 8)

I’ve got an old Colorsound Fuzz/Wah, that should do the trick.

Or, obviously, a Fender Reverb unit.

I am really particular about my straps. At least on my old Fenders. It always takes a long while to find just the right one for each guitar. Maybe I'm crazy, but I don't care. At this point, I favor old Bobby Lee as my #1 choice. I think a lot of ACE straps from the same era are overpriced, though I do have one or two.

Well that one is from the Swarthmore Music Centre, though God knows who made it and when. Looks very like a Bobby Lee though. I've some other cool old straps and I do agree old ones are the best and are worth the effort.

I had an empty Metro 24, a couple of power supplies, a bunch of cool pedals I hadn't checked out for a minute, and a free afternoon so I slapped this one together today:
Image
guitar > PolyTune Noir 2 > 1 Loop Box (R) [ Vintage Rat > Box of Rock ] > 1 Loop Box (L) [ AD80 > Meet Maude { FX loop: Supermoon } > Super Spring Theory > Supa-Trem ] > Little Black Buffer > amps

The Rat is dialed as a hairy mild boost w/ the drive side of the BoR pushing things to heavy dirt and the boost set to minor volume gain that works really well accentuating parts while providing a nice saturation. The AD80 is nicely quirky and a bit glitchy set for 8th note delay w/ 4 repeats. I've absolutely loved the Meet Maude w/ the Supermoon in its loop for lush, slightly unsettling washes or oscillating pads and tonight I found I was equally into the combo for slapback. The Super Spring Theory and Supa-Trem do a nice job providing ampy sounds that I like as well.

I'm thinking this setup will probably hang around for a while at least.
